SELF-CONTAINED BIOLOGICAL INDICATORS Key Components ✅ Plastic Pipe and Cap Perforated cap allows sterilizing agent penetration. Filter paper between pipe and cap prevents contamination. ✅ Crushable Media Ampule Contains modified culture medium with a pH indicator and fluorogenic substrates. Changes color from Purple to Yellow in the presence of bacterial growth. ✅ Inoculated Carrier Geobacillus stearothermophilus ATCC 7953 is located at the bottom of the pipe, ensuring reliable sterilization monitoring. ✅ Rapid Results Delivers fluorescence test results in 20 minutes with an automatic reader (56-60°C).
