INDICATIONS FOR USE
The LISTER Bowie-Dick Type Test Pack is designed for testing air removal efficiency of the
vacuum-assisted steam sterilizer after a warm-up cycle at the beginning of every day. The
recommended sterilization parameters are132~135°C, 3~3.5mins.

COMPOSITION The LISTER Bowie-Dick Type Test Pack includes a lead-free steam-sensitive chemical indicator test sheet embedded in a package of layered porous materials. These materials consist of paperboard sheets with moisture-impervious plastic layers on the top and bottom, wrapped in a non-woven, disposable wrap secured by a lead-free steam indicator label. TEST SHEET FEATURES
on paper, positioned near the center of the porous pack. Normal Operation: The primary test sheet turns a uniform grey/black color after testing. Failure Indication: Air removal failures, such as air leaks, are identified by a lighter-colored area near the center of the otherwise dark test sheet. |
